Yell Appoints Jim McCusker to New Role of Yellowbook President

In the latest addition to its executive ranks, Yell today announced the appointment of Jim McCusker to the new role of president of Yellowbook in the U.S. In this position, McCusker will have day-to-day responsibility of all Yellowbook operations, “ensuring their effective delivery in support of the Group’s ongoing global strategy.”

The move is part of Yell’s rapid transformation from its established position in providing print and online advertising for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to become a leader in the emerging local eMarketplace, which is centered on an innovative platform and digital portal where consumers and SMEs can connect and interact. Recently, Yell also added new roles of chief customer experience officer and chief digital officer to its executive team in an effort to push forward this objective.

According to Yell’s press release, McCusker is a highly experienced executive with more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. sales and marketing fields. He joined Yellowbook in 1989 as an account representative in Philadelphia, and has held a variety of increasingly senior sales roles. He was appointed chief sales officer in 2006.

McCusker will report to Yellowbook CEO Bob Gregerson and continue to be based at Yell’s offices in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
