Webinar: Phase 3 of SMB Digital Marketing – What Is It and What Does It Mean for Marketing Providers?
June 3, 2015 | Contributed by: Joe Morsello
Please join LSA and BuzzBoard for an exclusive webinar presentation next Thursday, June 11 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET.
We’re now entering what might be called “Phase 3” of SMB digital marketing. Started in the late 90s, Phase 1 was about cousin and nephew built websites and empty promises from vendors. It ended with the advent of social media. Lasting from roughly 2005 through this year, Phase 2 was also defined by digital presence management, review monitoring and new types of customer interactions.
Phase 3 will be driven by demanding and fast-changing mobile user behavior, with a need to deliver immediate value and transactional opportunities. Big data, marketing automation, fragmentation: greater sophistication — and complexity — now permeate the SMB marketing landscape. On the surface things may look the same as always but there are tectonic shifts happening underneath.
Greg Sterling, LSA’s VP of Strategy & Insights, Buzzboard’s Neal Polachek and special guests will engage in a lively discussion with heavy audience participation. What will define this new SMB digital marketing phase? What are the key success factors and who’s best positioned to win? Debate welcome.
