Updated YP App Brings Fresh Look and New Features

A newly redesigned version of YP’s smartphone app is now available to download on Google Play and iTunes.


This new update brings a cleaner, more modern aesthetic to YP’s popular local search tool, making it easier and faster for users to find what they’re looking for.  The app includes a new feature called My Book, which lets users create a personalized collection of their go-to businesses and professional services. My Book promises users a simple and convenient way to keep track of those businesses and services that users wish to reconnect with.


YP’s efforts to continously innovate its mobile app reflect the increasingly critical role that mobile plays in the company’s growth. According to YP’s press release, mobile now represents more $350 million in advertising revenue and more than 40% of total YP searches. As the mobile segment continues to grow, it is imperative for YP to provide its advertising partners and millions of app users with more meaningful ways to connect. Fresh features like My Book and the streamlined search functionality will continue to strengthen YP’s network.
