Member-Only Webinar: Key Trends & Q1 Metrics from the Localsphere
April 14, 2016 | Contributed by: Greg Sterling
Monday, April 18 at 11 Pacific/2 Eastern I’ll present our first members-only webinar. I’ve rounded up some key data points and will also be discussing important developments from the first quarter of 2016. Among them, I’ll talk about the outlook for “Messaging as a platform” and its potential impact on local.
This is one of the most interesting recent developments. I spent the last two days at the Facebook developer conference. Messenger and Virtual Reality were the key areas of focus.
Since this is the first members-only webinar, it’s a bit of an experiment. We’re looking for your participation and feedback. We want to make these webinars valuable for you. They can be about data. They can be interviews or discussions with startups, sales channels or tech vendors. We can unpack individual topics in depth.
As indicated, Monday’s webinar will be a bit of a survey. If you attend, please give us your feedback about what you’d like to see and hear more or less of and see. Suggest topics and/or guests. These member-only webinars are designed to be part of a conversation with our member community.
Don’t be shy. Even if you don’t listen in on Monday please send me your thoughts and ideas about what you’d like to see/hear in the future. We want these to be valuable and conversational.
Monday, among other things, I’ll be exploring:
- What’s really driving SMB digital media adoption?
- SMB self-service snapshot and outlook
- The local ROI paradox
- Mobile as the primary engine of digital growth
- The migration from local SEO to local data optimization
- The outlook for messaging platforms as replacements for search or apps
