Deals in Local: GoDaddy & Main Street Hub, Mono & Yext, DialogTech & Bing, DexYP & Kenshoo

The local marketing space has seen several “deals” in the past few weeks spanning everything from acquisitions to partnerships to tech integrations. These deals are broad in scope that seek to support many areas of the local space including SMB websites, call tracking, keyword optimization and more. Here are summaries from the various partnerships:

Mono & Yext: This is an integration between The Mono Platform and the Yext Knowlede Engine that drives automated website creation for SMBs and their digital service providers. The partnership has two primary benefits: 1. Automated website creation using SMB data from the Yext Knowledge Engine and 2. Automated content sync between Yext and Mono. All service providers who are partners of Mono and Yext can take advantage of the integration. READ MORE

GoDaddy & Google My Business: GoDaddy announced an integration between its website development service GoCentral with Google My Business (GMB). The first coupling between a website builder and GMB, the integration provides SMBs with an avenue for creating a website, while simultaneously constructing a GMB listing. The pairing offers a means for SMBs to increase their brand identity, gain better exposure and attract new customers. READ MORE

DialogTech & Bing: This integration enables businesses and agencies to track and analyze call conversions within their Bing Ads accounts. By connecting calls from Bing search ads at the campaign and keyword level, DialogTech provides search marketers with insights to optimize bids, targeting and messaging to drive more calls and customers at a lower cost per conversion. DexYP & Kenshoo: Looking to improve on search performance, DexYP migrated almost 4,000 accounts over 6 months to Kenshoo Local Search. DexYP sought a platform that would allow for keyword optimization and bidding that would reduce search costs for its SMB clients. The conversion has provided improvements in both CPC and CPL for many of DexYP’s customers. READ MORE

GoDaddy & Main Street Hub: GoDaddy is set to acquire social media marketing company Main Street Hub for $125 million. Main Street Hub, which focuses on marketing automation, CRM, social media, and reputation management, helps GoDaddy broaden its already vast cloud platform. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018. Current Main Street Hub co-CEOs and co-founders, Matt Stuart and Andrew Allison, will remain in leadership positions within the Presence and Commerce business unit of the organization. READ MORE

Yext & Duda: Yext announced a partnership with Duda, similar to the one with Mono Solutions, that looks to automate website development on the Duda platform using Yext’s local business data. Duda will use Yext’s Knowledge Tags to insert Google-friendly schema markup on websites in order to improve website information quality. READ MORE
