Cisco, FreshBooks, Facebook, Google to Speak at SMB Cloud Summit 12.7.17

The speaker lineup for the 2017 SMB Cloud Adoption Summit in San Francisco next week features a diverse group of perspectives spanning everything from cloud accounting tech, to payments, to prominent advertising platforms like Facebook and Google. The lineup is reflective of an evolving SMB market.

Today, competition for SMB spend comes from all angles. Payment companies offering email marketing, banks offering paid search services, marketing providers offering customer relationship management software.

But what’s driving this activity? We see five primary reasons for this cloud shift:

  1. Demographic shifts among SMBs
  2. Rising consumer expectations
  3. External pressure/competition
  4. Desire to simplify, reduce costs
  5. Enterprise services moving down market

Each of the sessions at the event seek to be a conversation about these issues and how SMB providers can compete in this changing landscape. It will be a unique opportunity for substantive discussions and insights that you won’t get at typical conferences.

We’ve just added Jenn Allen, go-to-market lead for SMB segment at Cisco, to the agenda, joining other headliners GoDaddy and USA Today Network. Also on the agenda are speakers from Google, Facebook, DocuSign, FreshBooks, HomeAdvisor, iPromote, YP Canada, SurePath Capital, Square Stack, Alignable, Tidings (David Mihm) and others.

To further encourage meaningful networking at the event, we selected a smaller, more intimate venue that will only accommodate about 100 attendees. However, capacity is limited, and we expect to sell out. You can register here.
